I AM COOK Bicycles is a rider-owned company that designs and fabricates BMX frames utilizing modern geometry and high quality materials. Our sizing follows traditional classifications of mini to XXXL but has a new approach to BMX. Sure, top tube length is a good ballpark, but it can misrepresent true size. By joining the rest of the cycling world and having clearly defined reach measurements, we take away the smoke and mirrors of BMX frame sizing.
What makes an I AM COOK frames so special?
Each frame is built to order just for you following a blueprint above and beyond what the big names do. Double-butted, heat treated, air hardening tubes are dial indicated and phased to ensure perfect frame alignment from the very beginning. Every frame is filled with argon during construction to back purge contaminating gases from inside. This added expense is taken to produce aerospace quality welds. Our signature dropouts and integrated seatpost clamp are made in-house. Their design and function pair to achieve the sleek lines that can only be an I AM COOK. Our bike’s head tube badge is more than a boring sticker. They’re real copper and silver that are hand-stamped and brazed on before powder coating. They serve more purpose than an artistic brand identification, it’s where you can find the model and serial numbers. Most importantly, it’s a nod to the Cook fabrication and sprint car racing legacy. These two components are the foundation of I AM COOK Bicycles.
